christmas shopping holds so many wonderful memories. the mere mention, and i’m feeling all cozy and nostalgic. that said, the experience of christmas shopping as an adult can be a pretty stressful one, but it doesn’t have to be – it can actually be enjoyable once you know how! as part of my partnership with robson street and their #sparklewithrobson holiday campaign, christie and i are showcasing how easy and fun it really can be when you make a day of it with your girlfriends.
christie and i had the most amazing day strolling around robson street enjoying their festive services. we warmed up at the DIY hot chocolate station outside of milestones where you can enjoy hot chocolate with marshmallows, and grab a treat to go, we filled out our christmas wishlist at the north pole express mailbox at urban pasture (in the hopes of winning it!) and grabbed a candy cane from the mailbox, too. we then wrapped up all of our gifts at their gift wrapping station located inside of CB2 (the station is DIY during the week, and by donation on the weekend). holiday shopping on robson street put us into the holiday spirit this year!
of course, what’s a day out with your girlfriend without capping the afternoon off with a glass of wine and a bite to eat? luckily, vancouver’s mild weather meant we could enjoy the buzz of the street and sit on the heated patio at cactus club.
the experience was so much fun, and it’s magical to stroll the open air shopping district popping in and out of our fave shops buying gifts for our lists.
merry christmas and happy shopping!
