I grew up watching my single mom hold it all down. Solidly a latch-key kid, I didn’t know my ambition was being built when I was six, but looking back? Oh, it absolutely was. I remember her five-step skincare routine, her red lipstick every. single. day., and learning pretty early that if you wanted something, you figured out how to make it happen.
At 22, I packed up my life and moved from my hometown to Vancouver with $700 in my bank account, no master plan, and apparently a wild amount of confidence in my own intuition. Turns out, she knew what she was doing.
Since then, I’ve built a 7-figure marketing agency (hi, Sousa Creative!), a personal brand and community I’m incredibly proud of, a career as a trusted creator, a podcast I love (shoutout to The Mom Flow!) - and, somewhere in there, a family and a life that matter more to me than all of it.
