i dreamt these up one day when i was looking for something quick and simple for a holiday party. i often come up with new recipes simply by strolling the aisles at the grocery store, and something will spark my imagination. in this case, it was costco, and i was in a rush. three ingredients, and these crispy, salty, and sweet “cookies” will be yours! they were a huge hit.

these throw together cookies are the perfect holiday treat. they are delicious and are the easiest recipe ever… i feel guilty even calling this a recipe!

PEPPERMINT PRETZEL SNAPS

40 pretzels or pretzel wafers
1 cup good quality chocolate melting wafers, half dark and half milk
6 candy canes, crushed

melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between sessions. allow to cool slightly for 3 minutes so chocolate adheres to pretzel more easily

unwrap, and crush cady canes in a ziploc bag

dip one half of pretzel into chocolate, let excess drip off, and lay in candy canes, sprinkling with the candy

lay to dry on a baking sheet covered with foil wrap or parchment paper

leave to set in the fridge for 30 minutes, and done!
