time for soup weather

i stopped buying canned soups years ago when i found out how much sodium they contained. since then, i haven’t eaten soups because they seem to be to be a bit of a hassle to make… could be just me but the payoff never matches the work for me! i was recently at a friends’ and met the owner of kitskitchen soups – i was an instant fan after tasting her soups (and being infected by her passion for her artisan expression!). i love to support local businesses, and even better when their product is amazing (and it’s a female entrepreneur run company!).

fresh, locally sourced ingredients, dairy free and straight up healthy and organic i’m a huge fan. love the idea of gifting the monthly soup subscription and if you’re in vancouver, you must check them out! a big bowl of the tomato + red pepper flanked by some crispy bread is calling my name…
